Comencen les Jornades de Portes Obertes del GCED

Al febrer comencen les Jornades de Portes Obertes del Grau de Ciència i Enginyeria de Dades fins el maig. Les jornades es faran a les tres facultats del grau: a la Facultat de Matemàtiques i Estadística (FME), a la Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (FIB) i a l'Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicacions de Barcelona (ETSETB).

Motivation of the degree

The ultimate goal of the degree is to provide education on these four pillars below.

chart Mathematics and Statistics. For modelling complex systems and treating data in a rigorous manner.

computation Computation. To learn the generalities of tools used in Data Science and Machine Learning while learning to efficiently work with them.
signal Signal Processing. To treat information derived from images, audio, video or any digitally coded data source.
entrepenourship Entrepreneurship. Will be encouraged through specific courses and through the involvement in multidisciplinary projects.
